beta blogger

It sounds like some sort of medicine for mental disorders. OK, this is about as blogging-dorky as I get (I hope) -

Have the other bloggers out there switched ("upgraded") to the beta (google) version? I keep getting prompted to do so, but for no real reason I'm hesitant. Is it really better? By resisting, am I holding on to the big front wheel bicycle here?

We switched and it is really easy to change the blog around now. Simple click and drag type stuff. Pictures seem to upload much more quickly and reliably too. Go for it! You'll like it :) of course you'll also spend hours playing just cause it's new ;)

Congratulations on all of the publishing and TV appearances and all, it's so great!

Based on this post, I went over and explored Blogger Beta and changed over.

I LOVE that I can drag my photos, I LOVE that it publishes quickly and the photos upload quickly. My only gripe is so far it makes me do a yes/no to for security when I make a comment. I will have to figure that out on my own system, probably. But I think Beta really is better so far (which is good because they don't let you change back!).

So glad you asked about this! I was going to ask the same on my blog.

I was worried my archives wouldn't transfer over, but that doesn't look like it was a problem for Soprano Spinner up there. However, when I clicked on Weaver's link above, it links to just the profile - no listing for a blog at all.

Hmmmm. Will gather more info...

I switched over and I think it's just fine. I'm still having troubles with uploading photos, but I think that's due to the fact I still use Picasa and Hello to upload pics. Go ahead, switch over.

Hmm. They only asked me once. I wonder about it, too, though.

So, I switched over today and just wrote a quick post about it. In a nutshell: easy & all good so far.

I do particularly love being able to label posts. Very organizing!

Also, I read they're gonna make everyone switch eventually anyway...might as well beat the crowd.
