Knitter's block?

I'm stuck.

I have yarn. I have needles. I have the desire.

However, I have no idea what to knit.

I need inspiration. What's on your needles?

One Weasley sweater in a very boring brown, two pairs of two at a time toe up socks (magic loop), and one sweater from the Knits that fit Knitty Gritty episode. Let's not talk about the needs to be sewn pile ;)

Gah! I totally meant to stop by and say I LOVED you on Knitty Gritty! Very helpful, and I love your hair! No wonder you got an Ebony dolly! LOL Does she have a name yet?

Ick, I am also suffering from knitters block. Since I finished my Clap in less than half the time I planned for it, I'm totally stumped! Wish I could help you out!

I have a prayer shawl, dishcloth, and an abandoned afghan square on the needle right now.

I recorded knitty...I hope to get some quiet time to watch today!

I have a topdown sweater and a lace scarf on the needles.

It is my first sweater ever and I am so proud. One thing I know for sure is that I am not a knitwear designer and have a ton to learn. You'd think I didn't even wear sweaters with as little as Inow about how the fabric should feel and what colors to choose!

Thanks for the beautiful pictures of yarn. They are so inspirational.

A huge and terrible case of Startitis has arrived in Burbank! I have 4 socks on needles; I've started a log cabin baby blanket; hats for my designer (2); and a desperate desire to start something (almost anything) else! A shrug, a shawl, kneesocks, something fun and complicated. Everything I'm knitting now is brainless (in contrast to a couple of weeks ago, when everything I was knitting had a chart and I was stymied by that, too). And the wheel is calling my name...

I think the knitandtonic.typepad.com le slouch pattern is great for using single skeins of handspun- even if it isn't perfectly balanced, the in-the-round style is very forgiving. And berets are so cute with spring dresses!

I have the Greta Garbo sweater from Hollywood Knits (an out of print book) on the needles. I hope you find something to knit soon!

Currently I have on a strip of a striped blanket that I'm making. It's great because if I need to knit but have no idea what to start next I can pick up the blanket and work on it until I get inspired.

I have the same issue at the moment I'm afraid. Curious how you'll get unstuck.
